Once the inland harbour is excavated, there will be a water area 600 metres long and 60 to 80 metres wide. The plan is to construct on the inland side of the water 2 or 3 levels of building suitable for shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities with apartments on the water edge for rent or timeshare.

Adjacent to the harbour will be a hotel and conference facilities with spectacular views over the marina and the Indian Ocean. To the south there will be an upmarket resort development for sale or timeshare. These units will have access via a boardwalk to a pristine and completely unspoilt beach.

Further development will include an 600HA Game Estate nearby. The picturesque Umzimai River valley will be the central area of the game estate. The process will include the rehabilitation of the Umzumbe River wetland to create a bird sanctuary as well as more holiday and residential properties.
